Today's commissioning service included comments and testimonies from all three missions teams. Rev. Hines' message of "dog" vs. "cat" theology encouraged us to remember that we are the recipients of God's great love, mercy, and grace, and HE is the GREAT AND MIGHTY ONE, the MASTER and LORD of our lives - instead of thinking like Shady the cat who believed he was the center of the universe and life was all about him.
Dr. Voight prayed specifically for our team and Dr. Stiegel closed in prayer for all of the teams.
It was a great send-off and encouraged us to go and share God's love with others around the world.
