We have arrived!

Mrs. Entwistle was a great bus driver who got us safely to the airport before 6:30 PM. We all got checked in and gathered at the gate area until our flight was loaded around 9:30 PM. We played card games, and Mr. Stouff introduced some of us to Pass the Pig. - Mrs. O was the winner...
Then we were entertained by Jess and Corinne impersonating some very famous people...you can ask them about that. We ate the snacks left over from our after school departure, and finally loaded the plane.
We had a great flight. There was some turbulance early in the flight, but once we reached our cruising altitude, we had a smooth and quiet flight. We had a late dinner around 11 PM. Then most of us were able to get some sleep for a few hours. Breakfast was served and we landed around 8:25 AM (UK time).

We gathered our luggage, were greeted by a local Salvation Army Chaplain who noticed the message on our shirts, and some of our group were treated to Starbucks samples by a passerby. We boarded a beautiful coach with bus driver, Wes, and our guide, Lee, from Enderby. It was a restful and beautiful ride to Enderby, where our very skilled bus driver was able to back the bus up the narrow lane right to the church, so that we did not have to haul our luggage all the way up the steep hill.

We had a delicious lunch provided by the folks at Enderby Mission Church and have had an enjoyable afternoon of games and a walk around town.
We will be having dinner with our host families at church, then heading to their homes for an early bedtime.
